When Tandemaus evolves, the form it evolves into is determined by its encryption constant, with a 1/100 chance of evolving into Family of Three Maushold. Maushold has two different forms: Family of Four and Family of Three. It will still evolve but skip the evolution animation if leveled up in a battle it was not sent out in. It evolves from Tandemaus starting at level 25 only when leveled up in a battle. Maushold ( Japanese: イッカネズミ Ikkanezumi) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.
